How we got here...
Stellar Stone, LLC is a family-owned business. While only becoming established in 2021, the owners have over 40 years combined experience in the stone countertop fabrication industry, primarily working at Keystone Marble & Granite in Milwaukee. When Brenda first started in 1998, there were only a handful of fabricators in southeast Wisconsin, and no distributors. Brenda had to go to Chicago to select slabs for her customers. By the time Alex started in 2000, there were a handful of distributors making their way into the area.
In those early years, about 90% of the projects completed were granite countertops, split between about a half dozen colors. Since then, many other stone countertop options have surfaced and the trend has shifted, with a large focus lately on man-made "quartz" countertops. Whichever surface you prefer, whether it is granite, quartzite, marble, or quartz, you can be sure that we have the experience and knowledge to expertly fabricate and install your countertops.
Our Team
Alex, Owner
Alex began working with stone countertops in 2000, where he quickly went from hand polishing to installation, and then to CNC programming and CAD drawing. He has handled every part of the fabrication process while also building lasting relationships with contractors, designers, and homeowners. After 22 years learning all he could about running a countertop fabrication shop, he decided it was time to jump in and use his experience and pursue his dream of starting his own business.
Brenda, Owner
Back in 1998, Brenda began her career in the stone countertop business doing bookkeeping, but immediately fell in love with the building, remodeling and design process involving custom stone countertops. After some major life events, Brenda pursued a different path, becoming a nurse in 2017, but has always remained "in the loop" since Alex was still in the business. Brenda is excited to pick up where she left off with the relationships she had with clients, as well as meet new people and build new relationships.
Arianna, Chief Creative Officer
When Arianna is not busy being a 6th grader, learning to play piano, playing violin in her school's orchestra, playing basketball for her school and club teams, or playing volleyball, she loves to be involved in building and growing Stellar Stone. She has been asking for a job since she was 8, so she is very happy to finally have one!
